As my return to work approaches,
my daily life is slowly beginning to move again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am about to go back
to that place called school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be honest,
returning feels like
deliberately reaching out to touch a wound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because I will once again be placing myself
in uncomfortable emotions
and in a heart that wavers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is something from long ago
that still stays with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was thinking about my future,
my mother once said to me,
\u201cThis university would be better for you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in that moment,
I chose her words
over my own feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The small sense of unease I felt then\u2014
I now understand
was the voice of my own heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through moments like that,
over and over again,
I gradually learned
to choose what others believed was right
over my own inner sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know that after I return to work,
there will be many moments
when my heart wavers again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this time,
I want to stay with that feeling of unease\u2014
instead of pretending it isn\u2019t there\u2014
and allow myself to truly feel it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To return to my own center
means to hold an axis within myself,
and to slowly nurture it, little by little.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not to make choices by conforming to others,
but to choose for myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until now, without realizing it,
my center kept drifting outward\u2014
further and further away from me\u2014
and there were times I felt hollow inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So from now on,
I want to stop denying whatever emotions arise,
and instead feel them fully, and accept them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then,
to trust my own sense of things,
and return to where I belong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have come to think of school
as a place to practice exactly that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I want to observe what happens there,
keep a record of it,
and slowly make sense of it in my own way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these thoughts in my heart,
I am now approaching the day of my return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
